Fix bug in uri where redirect check fails.

When the redirect check fails, the 'status' key is not set in
resp_redir, so we need to check this.

Migrated all examples: in DOCUMENTATION=''' string to standalone EXAMPLES=''' string
Added deprecation warning to moduledev.rst and remove deprecated example from it
Fixed up a few typos and uppercased some acronyms.
