Nijin Ashok 1f3d82dd18 Fix improper handling of machine_type in ovirt inventory (#16251 ) Currently the machine_type will not work if the instance type is set in ovirt. In that case, inst.get_instance_type will be an object and will fails while converting to json. This only work if the instance type is not set in ovirt where inst.get_instance_type is a Null value. The current change make sure that correct "instance type" is passed when instance is set in ovirt and Null when it's not set in ovirt.		2016-10-23 02:14:09 +02:00

inventory

Inventory scripts allow you to store your hosts, groups, and variables in any way you like. Examples include discovering inventory from EC2 or pulling it from Cobbler. These could also be used to interface with LDAP or database.

chmod +x an inventory plugin and either name it /etc/ansible/hosts or use ansible with -i to designate the path to the script. You might also need to copy a configuration file with the same name and/or set environment variables, the scripts or configuration files have more details.
