Improves the messaging when the Pager Duty action has trouble parsing the timestamp field and adds trimming on the timestamp's field to make us more flexible in handling the parsing and hence more likely to be forgiving of the input by the user. As the timestamp relies on context variables provided via mustcahe templates, we can't reliably validate this field at alert creation time. We address by: 1. Trimming the edges, which is required when parsing a date, should help prevent accidental spaces from breaking the parsing. 2. Checking for a mustache template on the client side and if there are none - we validate for a valid timestamp when the action is created. |

Kibana

Getting Started

Using a Kibana Release
If you want to use a Kibana release in production, give it a test run, or just play around:

Version Compatibility with Elasticsearch
Ideally, you should be running Elasticsearch and Kibana with matching version numbers. If your Elasticsearch has an older version number or a newer major number than Kibana, then Kibana will fail to run. If Elasticsearch has a newer minor or patch number than Kibana, then the Kibana Server will log a warning.
Note: The version numbers below are only examples, meant to illustrate the relationships between different types of version numbers.
