JavaScript is a programming language that was originally created to allow developers to write code that could be run in a Web Browser. It was first released in 1994 by the company Netscape. It has since become one of the most ubiquotous programming languages in the world and can found being used in Web Browsers, IoT Devices, Mobile Phones and Deskop Applications.

It is the programming language used in the popular Node.JS runtime for writing code that runs on a web server.

It is not related to the programming language, Java.

Similar to
